       As a Flint Ridge property owner you can and should become a member of the Flint Ridge Volunteer Fire Department by paying a “one time” membership fee of $100 and keeping current in the annual dues of $40. Therefore if you desire to join, please send the $100 membership fee plus the $40 for the 2010 annual dues to the Fire Department at 3 Hidden Valley Trail, Kansas OK 74347. Include with your payment the Block and Lot number of your property. In cases where property owners have more than one improved lot, dues of $40.00 for each lot is required.

Why become a Member?

The Flint Ridge Volunteer Fire Department is separate from the POA. Your membership in the POA does not automatically make you a member of the Fire Department.

The Fire Department exists to serve Flint Ridge and will respond to fire and medical calls to Flint Ridge properties, improved and unimproved. However, non-members are charged a fee of $750 for calls to their properties.

Growth of our Department helps to maintain and update our equipment. It also helps provide training of our fire fighters and emergency responders who do not and cannot receive compensation for their services to Flint Ridge.

Remember, an active Fire Department not only provides protection, it can also serve to give property owners lower fire insurance premiums.
